I'm going into my third year of college this upcoming semester and I've finally admitted to myself that I need to get my shit together. I'm on the hunt for a good app to use to organize my schedule.
In the past I've used an app on my phone that's just called "School Planner" and like yeah it does the job but it doesn't always do the job. Maybe I'm having a hard time navigating it but I think I want to try something new.
I considered using Notion, it looks really nice, but then it dawned on me that I don't really want to type my class notes so it actually does too much. I'm not gonna totally eliminate Notion as an option, though, because I already made the account LMAO
However, I am not a fan of using a physical, paper planner. I get them, plan on using them, and then promptly forget about it like 2 or 3 weeks into the semester. Kudos if you can make a paper planner work for you (/gen), but my brain does not work that way. I prefer to use digital planners because they're right there on my devices. I can't forget about them if they're right in front of my face all the time. Also, push notifications can remind me of the stuff I have to do.
So pretty much what I'm looking for is a sort of mobile and/or browser app I can use to organize my school schedule. I'm talking Classes, Assignments, Due Dates, Academic Calendar, the works. Also ideally it would be free.
The fall semester doesn't start until the end of August, so there's still some time to work out options. I'm also planning to meet with people/resources available on campus to get more advice about like, general ways to do Better.
Anyway! If anyone has any suggestions they are Greatly appreciated. I'm more than happy to discuss and try out options.

Folderly is a new one that's getting a lot of attention! It has a super cute UI and even a widget you can add to your phone screen. If you have an android they also plan on releasing a version on there soon. Aside from that you can never go wrong with the old reliable google calendar
