Ramona Flowers doodle and rambling

There's something so sad about the current state of the internet. The most popular "social media" sites are usually just full of bots and engagement farmers. If it's not those then it's the most stupid people talking about their most recent "hot take" regarding things that range from shows to world politics. Most people forgot how to have fun on the internet and that's why there's a lot of people talking about how miserable it is to go online. Popular sites took away the ability to be creative on your pages, they turned our desire to connect with other people into a competition, a worthless numbers game. I do really wish that we somehow manage to just drop all those sites and go back to creating our own sites and making pages like this but that's never gonna happen.

This site has its problems but one thing i really do appreciate about this site is just how human it feels. Like when clicking on people profiles it truly does tell so much more about their interests and vibes than their insta profiles and it feels so refreshing compared to other online spaces.

cool doodle btw

I agree! More contemporary sites just feel so diluted and corporate, that's why it's so easy to just disregard other people as "NPCs" on other sites because everyone's posts and profiles look exactly the same as each others' with very minute differences. No social space will ever be perfect, there will always be a part of the population that makes places like this unideal but that's just how it is when you give people the space and platform to interact with each other so easily. Also, thank you :]
