I've been keeping a diary on here and I've decided to make a public one- one that has a lot more open questions and positive thoughts to challenge how I write. Typically, when I write about myself, I highlight the negatives and answer my own questions or issues halfway through. This time, I'd like to be nostalgic and talk about the things I loved, and, to some extent, still do.
I've been listening to {GFRIEND} again, mostly [Rough], [Glass Bead], [Navillera] and {Apink}'s [MYMY], [I don't know], and [Mr. Chu]. These songs have that high-school free-spirited, soft and fluffy girly aesthetic that I absolutely adored when I was younger. With their cute Mary-Janes, plaid skirts and chic bookbags, I was totally enamored. I was obsessed with offshoots of it, with pink skirts and character bags (specifically bunnies or bears), and more anime-like hairstyles. At one point, I desperately wanted light pink hair or hair that resembled Neapolitan ice cream (brown roots, pink middle, white ends). Did I dye my hair pink? I did... Only the ends of my hair, though, and the rest of my hair was a questionably dirty blonde that was oddly similar to my skin tone.
This is basically what I liked: cardigans, skirts and collared shirts.
