Day 1: Things that make me feel healthy; mind, body, & soul

Mind & Soul

- Meditating, especially before bed. Puts me in a great headspace.

- Breathing exercises

- Stretching, it makes me mentally feel less strained in all actuality.

- Self care. Face masks, baths, nails, etc. etc.

- Honest to God, my Pinterest board relating to self help pins & quotes is a BIG help on reminding me of what's really important.

- Journaling or blogging (breaking the third (?) wall rn).

- Doing what I feel is intruitively correst at any given moment, & more specifically DRESSING how I feel. I'm big on the whole dress up thing. If I care to put a different face on (sad clown, happy clown, messy, clean) then I can & will. If I care to FEEL a certain way (if I've been feeling lame & want to take a second to dress cool so maybe I'll feel cool) I can also manage to put together something that gives the atmosphere of who I wish to be or feel like.

- Dancing. Like crazy, like stupid, like wild.

- Going outside, just simply being outside. Go look at the clouds or the stars & the moon. Feel the breeze or the gusts & lay in the grass. Let the bugs tickle you & maybe take a nibble at you. It's all love & curiosity in the end.

- Hanging out with my friends or my family. Doesn't have to be anthing special, just has to be.

Body & Soul

- Love me some herbal bs healing. Sure, maybe it's all a placebo but that doesn't matter to me when there are measurable improvements.

- Doing workouts I enjoy. Sometimes that's weight training, love me a quad day, & sometimes it's dancing, or going on a bike ride or MAYBE jog (if I feel tough) on my favorite trail.

- Hiking. Let's go climb a mountain.

- Roller skating, it's actually been a minute since I have practiced or gone to the rink but it's such a blessing to be able to glide on the floor.

- Fruits && veggies!

- My momma's cookin.

- Waterrr!!!! Fruit juice when I want something spicy but I'm trying to stay at the rate of 2L of water/day. 

- The sun. I mean really, we're just like plants. I need water & the sun & nutrients all the same. 

*Soul

A bunch of stuff I compiled here also helps with healing the soul. It's also important to mention that believing in some sort of ANYTHING (not necessarily God adjacent, just SOMETHING that is more figurative than literal) can really help make you feel more grounded & at peace. For me, I believe in an outsource of energy (good/bad) from anything we give that energy. Mother nature herself is a pinnacle of what I believe to be stringing us all together. By having some sort of belief (without such intensity as some religions) I'm able to self regulate my soul by forming my own basis for reality. For example, if I find truth in "everything happens for a reason" then it simply is the truth for my existence. If I find truth in crystals & palm readings, then they can & will be my guide. If I find truth in karma, then I will witness my own karma & the karma of others. If I believe there is an impurity in the air, then I will behave as if there is until I believe it to be cleansed. & if I believe sage or salt to be a cleansing ritual, then they will not only be viewed as one but will actually be one. I can't speak on anyone else's "true" existence & they can't speak on mine. A beautiful thing when handled with the right kind of care.
