Yeah, when it was still an niche subgenre of Hardcore EDM.
It was enjoyable and chaotic, finding artist as Venetian Snares or Christop De Babalon making such masterpiece’s and learning about how it actually can be enjoyable, but when it become an “popular” topic, since more artist’s where started to creating they’re own music discography based on breakcore an other subgenres such as Lolicore,Nerdcore,Mashcore,etc.
Breakcore started to be more varied and being more popular, at this point i think it was the peak of the subgenre, but then it become something different when it was miss understood with the acts done by some popular artists such as Sewerslvt (she doesn't even make breakcore) becoming more insufferable because a lot of artists just started to do the same thing cloning the same formula and not making anything different of the main popular one’s.
Breakcore it’s such an huge and magnificent subgenre, but the tiktokfication of it just transformed to something so insufferable to listen to and say “Yeah it’s my favorite”
yeah, honestly i wish for Breakcore to still being a nich genre, not because i want to feel special but more for the part of finding people who understand the roots and difference btwn the genres instead of just says everything its breakcore just because there is some amenbreaks on it

Not a big fan of breakcore but I do listen to other -cores. Currently on a goreshit diet for whatever thats worth. Also listening to this small artist named Ampongabendannitte but dunno what genre they're in.
I actually like sewerslvt's music, I know they're kinda blamed for popularizing their style of breakcore music but you can't really blame a musician that makes music a lot of people like to listen to.
the problem with sewerslvt its the fact that the genre they say do its incorrect one, i dont think its wrong i do think sewerslvt music its pretty good, but a lot of people ended up making music inspired on her thinking it was breakcore

errrrm I think Belladonnakillz has got some good stuff, specifically charming DXM and gotta gotta kill are rlly good. Aaron specter with "Create the future". Stazma the Jungle Christ with "Burn your TV" and "Drunken DSP". Knifehandchop's "Return to Chinatown". Rotator with "Get da fuck up" and "Highspeed zombie chase".
aand uhhh I dunno, I think that about is it for my own personal recs

What is considered actual breakcore I might like it 🙏
its one of the subgenres of drum and bass, its called breakcore because it has a very huge emphasis on using a lot of breakchopping more then genres like glitchbreak or jungle, if you want to get into the genre i would reccomend the artist HKmori as he is probably one of the best newgen breakcore composers
