Twilight New Moon is going to be the death of me

I started New Moon this afternoon, and i was so happy to have Alice Cullen content. I love her so much like actually. Unfortunately i am maybe 120 pages in, and its devastating me for two reasons. 

Firstly, and obviously, Bella's depression is very saddening. 

Secondly, i looked ahead and its going to take another TWO HUNDRED pages for Alice to come check on Bella after the cliff thing. TWO HUNDRED PAGES of Bella going oh im so sad about edward but Jacob will do i guess like pls no give me my vampires back i beg

I keep having to convince myself that i can do it, i can get through the team Jacob fodder until Alice (<333333333) comes back
