I went to my dads house yesterday ?!?!?!?!?!

was gonna write this yesterday but forgot but basicallyyy my dad cheated on my mum when i was  8 and my brothers were 6 and 3 (?) in 2015 but anyways he left to live with his mistress or whatever and we went round his house once in the months after he left before we weren't allowed back lol his "reason" was my mum was crazy but she literally had a normal reaction to being made homeless by the guy shes spent like 16 years with but anyways we go to my grandma's house twice a week instead of his house and he got engaged a year after he left (so in 2016) but we didnt see our future stepmum like ever (maybe twice?) and he didnt tell us about his engagement until 2021, when he casually told us in the car that he was getting married the next day and we werent going to be going to the actual ceremony, but we could go to the like reception or whatever. a year after that my sister was born and I asked him if we were ever gonna be allowed round his house and he dodged the question and we started to see my step-mum more but yesterday he sent me a message casually telling me we were going to "chill with *sister* at his house instead of going to the beach". Why tf are we allowed all of a sudden? will we be allowed back or was it a one time thing?? anyways his house was cool
