GENERAL / RANDOM

• history
  ^ pretty vague but its true,, pretty much anything i learn in / about history i find rlly interesting! i'm doing it for a-levels and i'm planning on doing it in uni when i get to that and hopefully getting a job to do with it! i just love history sm ahhh
  ^ this is a history video on youtube that i found interesting!
• guitar
  ^ i have dyspraxia so i really struggle with playing it (+ i've only had one for two months), but practising helps to improve my coordination! andd i love the sound of guitars in general. i love when songs have pretty guitar parts
• silly party(?) games
  ^ dont know if party game is the right way to describe it. but i have some card / board games that i play with my family sometimes and they're so fun! these are the ones i own: sounds fishy, dobble, superfight, taskmaster the board game
• animals
  ^ i love animals! i LOVE cats especially my own, in my eyes she is perfect i love her and cats in general so much. i also tend to love intelligent animals, like primates omg i find them so cool. i also like octopuses but i dont know much about them i need to learn some more one day! and. CROWS! corvids in general. i have a book on them. love them. very cool, hope they take over the world one day

• Red Dead Redemption (1 + 2)
  ^ i LOOOVE rdr2, for a while i just went around enjoying the open world, but after like four years of owning it, i finally started the story in june and finished it on the 6th of July (2024). now i am playing rdr1! i haven't finished it yet but i enjoy it :]
• Overwatch
  ^ haven't been playing that much recently but still love it!

• Fortnite

  ^ not much to say,, minecraft :p
• Assassins Creed
  ^ i own: unity, origins, odyssey, valhalla, mirage
  i know a lot of ac fans will be annoyed at that lol, sorry, when i was younger my dad had one which i always played but i can't remember which one it was,, possibly brotherhood? for a whiiile i never played the story part of story games, i just went around the open world having fun, but i am going to start playing the stories for these!! currently playing unity sometimes!

MUSIC

• David Bowie
  ^ love david bowie's music!!!!! i wish i could say a favourite album or song here but i am so bad at picking favourites for stuff, i love everything. uuuUmm diamond dogs is good !!! so is his entire discography.
• T.Rex (+ Marc Bolan)
  ^ love t.rex but i have to say, bands need to stop naming themselves after real things (/J). i cannot ever just say "i like trex :3" bc it sounds like im talking about the dinosaur, which is cool too, but im talking about the band! with marc bolan! sorry. anyway. i <3 their song 20th century boy, one of my fav songs ever. 
• Queen
  ^ not much to say here, i think everyone likes queen. rest in peace freddie!
• My Chemical Romance
  ^ again, not much to say really, mcr are great
• Billy Joel
  ^ wooohooo we have the same birthday! not by year. also theres a video of my family in like 2002 dancing to uptown girl and i always think of it now when i hear uptown girl which is already a banger imo anyway, i need to listen to more of his music one day i only know a few songs!!
• Billy Idol (+ Generation X)
  ^ god he has some amazing songs doesnt he omg. cool hair too. like billy joel i def need to listen to more of his music one day, i only know one album and a couple other songs. fun fact his band (generation x) went on marc bolans show once, and marc said "[billy idol is] supposed to be as pretty as me..". anyway, yeah, good music
• The Smiths 
  ^ eek adding these bc im listening to them as i write this. very catchy and fun songs. i do not like morrissey as a person though! but he has a lovely voice. like billy joel + idol, i need to listen to this band more, i only know one album and some other songs!!
• The Cure
  ^ adding this bc i added the smiths so i couldnt leave them out! i only know a few songs but i am going to listen to more of their stuff one day bc theyre very good!!!
• Blondie
  ^ very fun and catchy songs!! i'm starting to feel like im repeating myself here but oh well, can you guess what i'm about to say? yes, i need to listen to more of their music bc i only know a few songs but they're all so good!
• ABBA
  ^ may as well copy and paste the stuff i said for blondie, very fun and catchy songs! need to listen to them more bc the songs that i do know are great

bonus music fact!
^ in 2020 - 2021 i was *obsessed* with the arctic monkeys and the last shadow puppets, i knew every single song. because of this i still do know and like a lot of their songs, but i am not as obsessed as i once was 

there are way more musicians and bands i like than this but the list is already long lol

MOVIES

ngl when i got to this section pretty much every movie i've ever seen left my brain. so there are only a few examples here but theres def more stuff i like that i can't remember lmao

• Spiderman
  ^ ive watched all of tobey maguire's, andrew garfield's and tom holland's spiderman films. i enjoyed them all, very fun. the ones i like most though are probably into the spiderverse and across the spiderverse!
• Batman
  ^ i've only watched the dark knight trilogy so far, but i really like all of the batman films i've watched so far!! 
• The Truman Show
  ^ the only other movie i like that i can remember eek

BOOKS

the book i'm currently reading (20/07/2024) is Utopia Avenue by David Mitchell
^ i'm enjoying this book! its about a fictional band in the 1960s. its apparently a sci-fi but i'm not really sure where the sci-fi is in it lol, i've not finished it yet though so i'm sure it'll show up somewhere

books i have enjoyed (only a few examples, if i was to list every book i've ever enjoyed i'd be here too long and my back already hurts from sitting at my pc lmao)

• The Book Thief
  ^ this is a book set in wwii that was so beautifully written, (minor spoiler but it says it on the blurb anyway) and it is narrated by Death, which i think is an interesting concept!!
• The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
  ^ fun murder mystery! (again, minor spoiler but its on the blurb anyway) and it has a time loop which i think is fun + interesting!
• Percy Jackson
  ^ i like the majority of rick riordan's books (haven't read the kane chronicles yet though!)
• The Thursday Murder Club
  ^ i read this a while ago now but i remember it being very funny!
