I have a hair appointment in 11 days! I don't know if I can make it that long I really want to just cut my hair myself... but last time I did that um let's just say it did not look very good. I think I could do it this time tho. idk!!!

If you're reeeeal deadset on cutting your own hair, comb through the internet for a little to find a hairstyle you like and -make sure- you know how to replicate it! Though waiting until the hair appointment may be the best option :]

some tips i have as someone who had a very big urge to cut his own hair as well (and did), always go longer than what u actually have in mind !! go slow !! start front to back, (esp if ur cutting bangs for the first time, trim bit by bit, dont go straight for ur forehead hairs lol) usually just trimming all around is ez esp if u have longer hair n can grab the back of ur hair w ur hands easily
dont stress over it !! i recc having some cool music u can sing/dance along to (safely ofc) n being in a calm state of mind so u arent prone to getting irritated if u feel u did smth wrong w ur hair
big reminder is hair grows back ! its gonna be ok n gonna look how U want to, rock ur hair no matter what it looks like ! n take care of urself n stay safe from the heat if ur in a summery area ! <33 /pos /p
also for me it helped cutting my hair short, even from the back when i couldnt see it well, bc at that point i had the general shape n style i wanted, n the pro stylist just made my haircut a lot more even n pretty than i ever could, so yea ! :33 /pos
