Review of STRAY KIDS Mini Album "ATE"

Hello!! I wanted to start a series where I review music!! i'd love to hear other opinions on this album as well (it's okay if you don't like it lol, im not gonna go crazy on you)

Tracklist:

01. MOUNTAINS :  This track reminds me of another artist and I can't put my finger on it. It does sound like early skz, which I love. It's not my personal favorite, and I probably wouldn't seek it out on purpose but I wouldn't skip it if it came on. 7/10

02. Chk Chk Boom : This is my FAVORITE title track by them. Changbin's rolled r's are addicting to listen to and I could put this on repeat for hours. The lazy rapping is something I prefer over their faster, more hard-hitting raps. 10/10

03. JJAM : This is my least favorite on the album, which I didn't expect! The flows are not my favorite, and I would probably skip it if it came on. But who knows, maybe it'll grow on me! 4/10

04. I Like it : This is more pop-sounding and I love it. Their toxic love song's are always soooo good. Seungmin's voice is extremely addicting in this song, and I really think he was made for it. 9/10

05. Runners : I don't mind the english, but I didn't expect it for some reason. This song feels like a pulsating aura rising to the skies type of gif lolol. I really like it! 8/10

06. twilight : Hanpop is ALWAYS a hit. My second favorite on the album!! I love it so so much! 10/10

07. Stray Kids : This felt repetitive to me, and I knoowww it's a sentimental song but it's very forgettable to me. I would 100% skip this if it came on. 5/10

08. Chk Chk Boom (Festival Ver.) : I think this is my favorite variation of one of their songs. I NEED to hear it live. I literally listened to it on repeat today lol. 10/10

Comments: Overall, I would rate this album an 8/10 !!! I LOVE IT!! There are a few songs that just aren't for me, but I do love the rest. I don't think skz could disappoint me even if they tried xD
