Songs that mean a lot to me.

Songs that shaped my personality, exposed me to a band or artist, or have deep roots within me.

Gonna try to make it in order from when I first discovered each song or when it had the most impact on me and add a little note to each song. Might be a little cringe at the start. I was a soundcloud fanatic when I was 12-16.

The red-noted songs are ones that I don't listen to much or are even essential to me presently but are still an integral part of my musical foundation and wouldn't be here without them. They need to be mentioned out of respect and what they meant to me at a time in my life.
The green-noted songs are ones that ARE me. A fundamental and vital piece of my life. Songs that will follow me until I die.

2016-2019 soundcloud phase

oregontrail - goodbyefornow: Bones side project I found while learning about the Oregon Trail in 7th grade. Eventually led me to the soundcloud scene shortly after.

xxxtentacion - i'm alone, part 1: I was obsessed with all his unknown songs when I was 12-13.

the lazarus plot - asleep/awake: One of my favorite emo bands.

2024 - The present time and ever so fleeting moments.

I think I'm gonna just put down some bands and artists for this one and then move on to individual songs. Doing that because there isn't a single song by some of these artists that are molding me into who I am, but rather multiple songs from the same artists coming together and building the most beautiful symphony that erupts my spirit into bliss.

Also, not gonna do much notes for this one. It's hard to assess how much these songs mean to me while I'm still living in the glory of them. I need hindsight to truly tell me how I think of these because these are peak songs and artists to me, right now. Perfection.

Going to frequently update with new songs. Might even remove some songs because I did add a lot to this year :/
