Dating Sims

I've always felt weird abt them but this year i started getting into more indie games, rpgs, vn's etc etc and subsequently, Otome Games. Nd honestly?? THEY FUUCKK. If done well...Especially, texting sims. (Like,, Mystic Messenger, SeekL, Bloomic, etc.) IDRK why i didnt get deeper into them especially after playing Mystic several years ago, but omg i've been holding myself back for yeaaarrs. What r ur thoughts on otome games? nd any recs??
