violent and nonsensical dreams

ive been having dreams where the main plot is that im getting into some kind of violent conflict with someone ive never seen before for like no reason 
either that or im just following the stupidest scene changes ive ever seen in my life
im assuming this is completely normal dream stuff but its been happening for like 3 weeks consecutively and im a tad worried if not intrigued
