My paintings I made for my senior thesis!

Hello! I've recently graduated from art high school, so I wanted to share all the work I've put into my final thesis! Basically, we all had to choose a "theme" we would use for that half of the year. then we made a contract that consisted of dates in which we would complete each painting, blah blah blah... tldr I made 5 paintings over the course of 6 months!

My theme was basically speculative paleontology! Aka lots of cool paleoart. Here they are!

First: Gouache on watercolor paper

Second: Digital (procreate)

Third: Digital again! (procreate)

Fourth: Gouache on watercolor (this one is probably my least favorite, i dont like it very much ;-;)

Final: Gouache on watercolor

Lots of work went into these pieces! heres some of the preliminary sketches and ideas:

theres a lot more of course, but its not too pretty (mostly just sloppy thumbnails of multiple compositions) and i also dont want this blog to be too long haha. 

well, I hope you enjoy them! Now, I can make art all for myself again! yay!!!!! I want to draw lots of dragon ball stuff. Dragon ball kept me excited to make art outside of school... dragon ball is awesome... but so are dinosaurs. But i think I need a good break from dinosaurs for now haha!
