Card of the Day with Animal Spirit Guidebook #1

Good day everyone,

I've decided to archive my first week using my first deck outside of the norm tarot deck! It's very exciting as I am still learning to be intuitive with my readings so practice is surely in order.

I made sure to shuffle the deck a lot and cut it the way I felt. Before I drew the card, I took in the stillness of my quiet and dark room. I placed the whole deck against my heart, listening to my heartbeat for a moment and then drew the card:

Dolphindescription

The first reaction I had was to make a face, haha. If anyone knows me, they know my huge dislike for dolphins. I think they are some slick, cheeky bastards. With that in mind, I read the guidebook's description of the healing energy a dolphin type may have. Reading along with it. I couldn't help but see myself in a lot of these traits. Thinking more deeply about it, it's a beautiful sign to show me I am on my way to becoming more spiritually connected. I want to believe in divination and I want to believe my soul has what it takes to see things that are not clear. I also view this card as a reminder to be playful and creative! It is a water element after all. My feelings have been very sensitive lately and I am trying to balance with doing things that continue to make me happy like drawing, writing, listening  to music. I heal myself best when I am tuning into create or diving into other people's bodies of work. I've been listening to albums lately. These in the last couple of days:

I'm not afraid to say I cry while listening sometimes cause it echoes the exact words that ring a situation clear. I'll leave you with these lyrics that are always hard to hear because a  small voice responds with 'Yes, I've tried and it's still so hard but I will keep trying'.

It's been from the song After the Storm by Kali Uchis ft Tyler the Creator:

I know it's hard
But do you even really try?
Maybe you could understand
When all you had to do was ask
And just open your mind
When everything is passing by
And all you had to do was try
Yeah, all you had to was try
Try, try, try, try, try
All you had to do was try
Try, try, try, try

Until tomorrow's reading, thank you for your time.
