Hello guys, as you may know... Or not... (sad tbh)

Federiefederi (futher referring as "Federi" or "Federie twins") were some two cool dudes, (except, they were girls), who wanted to help new sites on Neocities. They liked the idea of Neocities, except the people who were getting less views than other sites, thus giving a disadvantage to new sites, and advantages to old ones that stuck out. (tbh that's how new sites work for a few moments) Their idea was, to simply put up a table of buttons, and people, out of curiosity, would enter the sites, browse them a bit, thus boosting views.

I liked the idea of Federi, and even wished that their prosperity and legacy wouldn't perish, (spoiler alert, they asked internet archive themselves to remove all their archives) making me join them.

It was all great and heaven, except... Federi put up a "poll" comment, asking if they'd quit Federi if, theoretically, they'd remove their buttons. Most people voted not to quit if such thing had been done.

Another comment, they said to "unfollow them because it helps them gain popularity" and explained why in reasons I don't remember neither want to search in archives right now. So, I fell into their love-trap, and unfollowed them because I actually thought Federi would be boosted in popularity from unfollows from two people... I regret it.

All of this, led to one and only... Ban. An anonymous person asked Neocities themselves to ban Federi for "making a follow-for-follow scheme". (completely untrue matter of fact)

How do I feel about it to this day? Devastated. The vanish of the two people that joined a community of new and already popular sites also made other people sad.

To be honest, I think they hate me because I unfollowed from my two accounts, and that is a sort of a reasonable reason on why to hate me being Federi twins themselves.

I also noticed lots of people were publicly signing out of Federi by leaving them a "nice" comment (heartbreaking for me too, I feel you Federi) and even some of my friends like GhostSalt signed out of Federi. But I stayed, or so I thought, until the unleashment of the people, the community, the place where everyone liked each other, now has turned into a chaos, and me personally, I still think it's chaos.

I and Bonki noticed they had a Steam profile, but apparently according to Bonki they made the account private and now it's invisible from searches.

Pretty much sadness...

Federie twins, if you are reading this, I'm sorry for further pushing you into your ban. Look man, I was stupider back then, I forgot Neocities was unfair and that unfollowing you would negatively boost your popularity.

Again, I am very sorry for all the misdeeds I did. Hopefully, you will accept my apology, but even if not, I will miss you both until I am dead.
