ppl who buy things solely for the trend then throw them out after it ends

it's so annoying when people act like you HAVE to get an entirely new wardrobe just for a fashion trend that'll last for maybe 2 weeks or so. like that thing where people go "[___] are out, [___] are in!!" like clothes have an expiration date 💀 like okay, it's your money, do whatever, but think about why you're doing it maybe. why buy an entire closet for some trend, then proceed to not wear it or throw it out after the trend goes away, then buy even more clothes for the next? it's like a never-ending cycle 🌚

like did you guys see that one time when people started buying collections of stanley water bottles and were even fighting over them in stores?? then also proceeded to get another collection or throw that one away completely because there was another trending water bottle? it seems like such a waste honestly
