My chemical romance is emo

I know some people will hate this take but here this. if you have a piano near you in a room full of people of the emo subculture and you play the "G" chord, everyone in that god damn room is going to KNOW that it is the beginning of black parade. There are definitely more amazing emo bands out there that people should listen to like Rites of spring, Pierce the veil, The Used etc. But no matter what you think of MCR, you gotta admit that they are emo!!!!
