I’m genuinely curious about what people think of “tiktok music”. I’ve stumbled across a lot of ppl saying that it’s either cringe or that you are a poser for liking “tiktok music”.
What makes a song classified as “tiktok music”? Are any song that gets popular on tiktok gets to be classified as “tiktok music”? Do you think people are just taking this too seriously? Let me know! ^^

i do fw some of the music that gets popular from tiktok but i do HATE music made FOR tiktok .. do yk like the booktok bf song thats like blue eyes 6'5 ?? i HATE that shit so bad i hate booktok gooners . also theres this dude hes like, a bard his name is naethan apollo i HATE him his song is so bad hes a mid white guy fuck him honestly fuck u and ur percy jackson cosplay duck tales sounding ass he sounds like hes about to tell me his escape plan and point at me like "you! you'll be the diversion... and ill just use my heh... charm."

i have two definition of "tiktok music"; 1 is music that got very big on tiktok, 2 is music specifically designed to get big on tiktok. the first one is fine but i feel like the second is somewhat damaging music as a whole.
and as the listeners i cant have an opinion on people who listen to "tiktok music" but also like music that doesnt get big on tiktok, its too broad to put in a category, but for the people who ONLY listen to "tiktok music" i just think they havent listened to a lot of music, whether its because they dont want to or they havent gotten the chance yet. and while i do dislike the second tiktok listener type i dont think theres really anything wrong with both of the listeners.
