I never understood "yall are just mean" as an internet phrase

never understood how it can be used in a different way other then litteral, sure this mite be me not having english as my mother language or im just dumb when it comes to internet phrases but like.. how is it NOT suppost to be thought off as not litteral?

And i feel as though unless you have tone tags attached to the word, it cant be processed in anything but in litteral menaing ,and in cases of context, can easly miss its non malicious ton in some instances. No joke got to have been told that even is a internet specific phrase.

Now, im not sure where it got such meaning and from where, but i gotta say... not everyone is gonna know of such and 9/10 if you talk to someone who isnt on the net 24/7 they arent gonna know it wasnt out of the litteral menaing of the word.
