got my wisdom teeth out

finally got my wisdom teeth out today!

i was soo nervous to get them out since all four were impacted and under the bone of my jaw!! I was honestly more anxious about the anesthesia than the actual procedure though LOL. last year i had a way bigger surgery and woke up nauseous as all hell and stayed that way for a good 48 hours. 

the good news is that i’m feeling okay still!! It’s been like 12 hrs since i got the surgery and they pumped me so full of zofran lol. i still have some juuust in case but i’m not ready to swell up even more tomorrow. I hate taking ibuprofen and i’d rather take tylenol since it doesn’t bug my stomach, but i know i need to make the swelling go down and i already look like a chipmunk 12 hours after…

i had to get an ace bandage to wrap around my head so i could keep the ice packs on my cheeks while being able to actually do things like eat or play games or text people. i look like a nun with a tan hood instead of a black one lol. my mom said i should keep 20min ice on, 20 min off but it feels so much better with the ice being slightly melted and staying on for a long time. 

They also gave me some antibiotics to take which i’m not too jazzed about, but i kinda get why they’d have me take em since it’s hard to keep the surgery site clean when it’s in your mouth lol. hoping it doesnt wreck my gut like the other antibiotics i had to take last summer LMAOO 

It’s time to sleep probably but that means taking another giant ibuprofen and knocking out. i think it’s giving me acid reflux tbh 😭 that shit is so rough on my stomach i think i’m just gonna take tylenol for pain.
