2008

Today is now 2025, but I want to achieve a life during 2008 or anytime within the 2000s. I was born in the early 2000s, which is 2001, and practically, I was only a child during the 2000s. Eventhough I was a child back then, there were times that I act like a teenager at that time. I listened to some music hits during the 2000s and using technology the 2000s were had like camcorders, digicams and even Nokia phones. I knew MySpace back then but we have a different version of that called Friendster, which that is the more relevant version of MySpace across Asia. Unfortunately, I didn't experience these OG social media sites back then because I have to become like 13 to have those. Luckily, I discovered this one and I immediately create one, and it feels like my inner child has been healed. "So this was life back in the 2008 as a grown-up teenager and i TRULY LOVE IT!" Now my next mission is to have the technology back then used in a daily basis. Our old gadgets has already been broken and cannot be fixed anymore so it is just sed for display purposes or props in a photoshoot. When it comes to fashion, I already achieved some Y2K Fashion, particularly punk rock or emo by buying it on a thrift shop since clothes at that place has a nostalgic vibe into it. I want to go back when the scene aesthetic is still its peak! Nowadays, anything is now minimal (which is actually good because I remember back then, people are now not into the scene aesthetic anymore and they want to switch things into a much simpler one) but now, I think it's time to go back into these things again, since it already become nostalgic already.

I dearly miss 2008 a lot since that is the time that I'm in between a child or a teen (eventhough I was only 7 back then). I already entered by pre-teens already in the early 2010s and smartphones are now a thing but it was only for certain people like adults that can afford it. During that time, I already owned a phone but it's only a 2G phone and has a keypad and a camera with only 3 megapixels in it. Ngl, I have cool moments at my phone but unfortunately, it is now broken and I didn't save my photos and videos in our computer or a USB back then so it is now already lost media. I really miss these times and if time travel truly exists, I just want to go back in these times. I am now already in a borderline of being an adult and I am actually very anxious about it so that's why this is, like, my coping mechanism to continue on living. :')
