Anime Recc: Serial Experiments Lain

Highly recommend this show. I think it's pretty obvious from my profile that I like it but aside from that its free on YouTube with the full thirteen episodes and I definitely think if you're interested in something to watch and you like psychological shows with cyber like elements you should totally watch it!! I'd say there's a horror aspect to it too but not too much y'know? but that's just how I see it. its from 1998 and I'm sure you've heard it's intro song before--"Duvet" by the band Bôa. Definitely a good song and I recommend that band too! 

Summary: An adolescent girl develops a unique connection to a virtual reality network known as the wired.

Going in watching it I just simply fell in love with it--though I will admit it was a bit confusing to understand at first and while I myself may not have made too much sense of it, the show definitely had a lasting impression on me as I simply watched and enjoyed each moment and then dissecting it later to understand!!
