Alright ima explain this the best I can.

Usually when you role play, you follow a story and you play a character. It all depends on what rp it is with your character. (Like if powers exist you may wanna make your character have powers.) but with a character you would have their name, age, gender, what they look like, and their personality. Once one got that done, you follow the story. When you roleplay, you act like your character, talking how they would talk and acting like how they would act. When you do an action, you would put in in Asterixs or “*” to show that it’s not the character talking but more like a narrator of sorts. An example of how you would talk in an to would be something like: “oh my! I’ve never seen you before!” *maki said, looking at you curiously* “what’s your name?”. I know this probably isn’t the best explanation but I hope this helps! And have fun roleplaying!
