Journal Entry #110: 07/14/24 - Late Summer Worries

Another week is about to begin!

Just like the average summer week for me, not much happened. I've mostly been working on my web dev project, working on org work, playing video games, drawing, collecting images, and eating good food. Okay, I guess that's a sizeable number of things to do lol.

On Tuesday I went to a consultation appointment with a stylist. We had a few issues when it came to getting everything scheduled since the owner was letting his ego get in the way. He has had a few famous clients, and clearly, he's let that get to his head. Wednesday was pretty chill, and so was Thursday. On Friday, I went to my hair appointment, and it went amazing! My hair looks so wonderful, but I'm afraid washing it may have ruined it a little lol. My family and I also went shopping on Friday, and I got a nice black pleated skirt. They had the same one in blue, but not in my size, so I opted for the black one. I can't wait to put together some cool outfits. We left late, so we ended up driving home in the dark. I'm not usually out when it's dark during the summer, so it was quite a refreshing drive.

Speaking of driving, I test-drove a car yesterday. It was a blue 2019 Toyota Camry, and it drove smoothly. There were a few dents, and the previous owner left some burn marks on the inside of the car, so my parents have decided we aren't getting that one. I really hope we find a car soon, I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to drive to my golf class and go to other places that aren't on campus.

I'd also like to talk a bit about ZZZ. I've been having fun playing it, but boy does it take up my time lol. I'm finding myself grinding for materials to level up all of my agents so that I can easily put them in different lineups. Also, I'm in the process of making some fanart! It's of Anby; I really love black and green as a color combination. It's not where I want it yet, but I hope to fix that this week.

So, about the title: I have a little over a month left until classes start back! Around this time, I tend to get anxious trying to ensure that my summer is well spent. There are still some things I want and need to do! I need to register for an absentee ballot, I want to get some local boba, and I want to visit the local river. I might as well be getting ready to say farewell to summer...and make this last month count!
