Moving up in the world

Today was my brother's birthday, and he got a new laptop. Apparently, my mother had made my brother agree to give his old laptop to me in exchange for this expensive-ass gaming laptop. And, my brother agreed, so he gave me his old laptop (which I am typing out this blog entry from!). His new one is pretty fancy, as it was specifically made for gaming. He had originally wanted a PC, but he's now 17 and my mom was worried about him having to lug around a PC, monitor, keyboard, etc. while he was away for college. She made him a deal so that he would get a laptop instead. That's pretty much how I have a laptop now. Pretty neat, huh?
