Metalocalypse

This is like *the* silliest thing I could make a blog abt but here we are. I've been getting into 2000s culture hardcore lately, especially alt culture (goth and metal especially) and Metalocalypse is a show I've loved since I was 14 (the 2010s! truly "vintage") so of course, I find myself thrust suddenly back into my fixation. It's just genuinely a comfort show for me at this point, as morbid as that may make me sound. Gore and frankly, embarrassingly out of date "edgy" comedy at times, aside it remains a show I find myself returning to. I think especially in the world of adult animation, its hard to find shows that can genuinely tow the line between silly and comedic and genuinely compelling lore. It's super late where I am, but I'll write more tomorrow I think.
