Story plans, unwritten as of October 13th, 2024
Animator: Made Barbossa, then Brother-Mind, and taught the latter the methods of creating more of what he would call "The Bound".
Likes experimenting and testing things, a scientist-type character.
Experiments with everything, even when there are no clear/obvious benefits.
Barbossa: The first-Bound - extremely competent when it comes to shapeshifting to a set of physical forms; digging, drilling, cutting, and smashing/melee, though smashing and melee was added on after the fact.
Was intended to be a kind of "tool", but eventually Animator found that because of it's hardy nature and thick skin (especially when in the drilling form), it could also be a powerful weapon to enable an army to out-maneuver enemies in underground/tight spaces.
After it was finished, Animator began considering making other creatures, but wanted an assistant to do so- which is why it decided on making a second creation dedicated solely to making more.
Barbossa ended up acting as a kind of "template" for Brother, seeing as it was sturdy, well put together, and the flaws it had could be worked around.
Most of the flaws include it being slow and not as combat-oriented as some of the later Bound, but still extremely capable of surviving any sort of fight, though not actually participating in the fighting, hence why the Animator added a smashing/melee form specifically for the task.
Brother-Mind: The "father" of The Bound, though is technically the first of them. This one's first-Bound is Belltower, then second-Bound being Borrasca, (maybe third being Bombshell due to her need to retreat during outright combat?)
While it was still a newly formed creature, it had to go through a number of lessons to re-learn information, leading it to slowly developing a wide range of skills that makes it even more dangerous as a fighter, though it hardly ever sees any kind of combat.
Belltower: Third-bound, some have nicknamed it "hell-beast".
A giant that wears the corpses of human torsos on his arms.
Name comes from something to do with how his footsteps are like the bell of a giant tower crashing to the earth.
Wields a giant clocktower's hour hand, armor is made out of scrap metal and chunks of cars.
Also has a giant crane hook connected to a loop of thick wire around it's waist.
Tall and strong, but also slow and clumsy, works best with the rest of The Bound.
Poorly constructed initially, had to be added on to and changed as time went on, resulting in it being unable to communicate verbally.
Animator insisted that Brother-Mind make the rest of The Bound centered around it, since it would be extremely dangerous in large-scale combat.
Borrasca: Short, fast, and strong.
Best with CQC, but will use bows and throwing spears when needed.
Raised and trained in an enclosed mine at the orders of Animator.
Bombshell: Regular human-sized, shape of a sexually gifted woman, uses things such as sex and deception for her benefit against targets.
Best utilized when singling out targets and performing assassinations than all-out combat, but if it finds itself in such a situation, it will either
1.) Retreat to a more advantageous position,
or
2.) Fight alongside one or more members of The Bound (especially Borrasca for it's speed.)
