💚🩷🦴Whenever I see someone with an ai art profile picture I cringe a little💚🩷🦴 RANT

Like for sure if you don't know yourself if your art pfp is ai then that's not your fault since it can be very hard to point out sometimes, but people who actively use ai art for everything they do bother me.

If you want to use a real person's art in your pfp all you need to do is credit them I don't understand the point of using something so harmful and normalizing it because it shouldn't, I believe not all ai is bad but we are using it for things that we don't even need. 

We work our asses off as artists just so ai can come and replace it but we can't let this shit just happen- I dislike that people justify by saying "but what about the disabled people that can't do art?" What about the disabled artists that don't make art with ai? Do you support THEM?

I think people forget the meaning of art and it's importance on us all, art is to share, art is to share feeling, and art should be here to stay. What would artists in our history think of today's "ai art"? Because I think they would believe it's a complete joke.

We are erasing "creative jobs" that should be available to those that are even disabled/autistic/ect, ai is not bringing us all together it's excluding us. We may not be able to do much about ai but we can still speak up for what's right and why artists are still important. As an artist myself I want a better future.

You can think that it's maybe "not that deep" but it actually is, ai is mostly art theft and ai takes all of these elements from creative artists and puts them together. Sure it may not look the same anymore but it still doesn't mean it's not harmful.
