*✩˚🪼𐙚*:･Tips to have long nails + Inspo designs for begginers (traditional nails)🌊.ೃ࿐

🪼˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚I have studied manicurism and I usually work in this to earn money. These are some tips that I have learned in my classes (for traditional nails) that help me have my nails long and strong :3˖°𓇼🌊⋆🐚

🖤 Nail growth is different on each hand and on each finger, no nail grows at the same speed as the other. If the difference is very evident, you can file them to make them the same length.

🖤 Keratin: contrary to popular belief, nails do NOT have calcium, nails are made of keratin. So no, drinking more milk will not make your nails grow, but keratin will.

🖤 "Natural" recipes like putting garlic, lemon or toothpaste on your nails will NOT make them grow. It will only make them brittle, fragile and smell very bad...

🖤 File the tips of your nails 1 or 2 times a week (always in the same direction) to prevent them from breaking. Use a glass file for best results.

🖤 Always keep your nails painted (base, polish and top coat), this will make them more difficult to break and last longer.

🖤 Always use the same brand of products. If you use a polish from one brand but then use a top coat from another brand they may not work. This happens because they do not always have compatible formulas.

🖤 When you bathe, wash your hands, etc. Be careful, as water softens nails and they can break more easily.

🖤 If you have gel, acrylic or polygel, never tear off the product to remove it. Nails are made up of layers and when you tear off the product you are tearing off these layers, which makes your nails weak and in some cases painful when you touch them.

🖤 Be careful when opening drawers, moving objects, etc.

Extra fact: if you use a lot of polishes and your nails turn yellow, don't be scared, it's normal due to the pigments. (Like mine's lol)
