Preferred Mp3 Device?

If y'all had one, what was your preferred MP3 player back in the day? I remember when I got my first one, it was one of those mini Memorex mp3 players that also played video. I've considered scoping out for a used one since my old one has been long gone, most likely misplaced or buried seeing as my family had been hoarders.

As much as I like having a phone as an option for an MP3 player, it's too distracting and too big when I exercise or go on runs, and I'm not big on Apple products accept for iPods.
