welcome to my BYF/DNI/thin ice. 

if ya didnt know, byf stands for “before you follow”. it’s basically everything you should know before you add me.

dni stands for “do not interact”, which basically means “stay the fuck away from me and if you DON’T stay the fuck away from me, i’ll block you, and sometimes i’ll block you even if you don’t interact with me”. 

thin ice means “okay i can tolerate you but don’t be surprised if i randomly block/unadd you”. so, here goes.

BYF: 

-pls TW gore and anything relating to body image issues while talking to me

-i don’t require tone tags 24/7, but i highly appreciate them

-i make kys/kms jokes

-i read/write rpf, and i believe shipping real people is okay, as long as you don’t try to shove it in the real people’s faces (unless they explicitly state that they’re okay with seeing that stuff), as as long as it’s not incest/any other forms of proshipping.

-i affectionately use she/her pronouns for gerard way, but i still use he/they for them alongside that

-yes, i am a swiftie. no, i will not try to murder you for disliking her. no, i don’t support her borderline climate terrorism via private jet.

-i am a proud MCR5 clown.

-i am a former dream stan, and my sister is still one, so i may bring him (and his friends, including george, who is, in fact, innocent) up occasionally. if that bothers you, please leave now.

DNI:

-basic DNI criteria 

-if you’re under 13/over 25

-if you think taylor swift was the problem in any of her past relationships

-if you victim blame

-if you’re a gaylor (this one is complicated. feel free to interact if you just write fanfic and don’t try to force labels onto taylor/shove your shipping in taylor’s face. if you DO force labels onto taylor or shove your shipping in taylor’s face, you fall under this, please DNI.)

-if you’re a waycest shipper, writer, reader, artist, etc. (i don’t care if you ship/write/read/draw/etc. it to deal with your trauma, PLEASE do this with a non-RPF ship)

-if you don’t respect the wives of the MCR members (hating lindsey as a person is okay, but you still have to respect her)

-if you don’t think people can learn from their past mistakes/change their beliefs

-if you post neg relating to any of my interests (unless i interact first)

-if you strongly dislike/hate anyone i like (unless i interact first)

-if you support quackity or cellbit in any way (unless i interact first)

-if you support/defend any problematic musicians (listening to them is okay, supporting/defending their actions is not).
