Warning!! Yapping incoming!!
Persona 3: You ever see the gif that's like "People playing through a 3/10 game only to rate it 10/10 because the theme is to live"? That's how I feel about Persona 3 LMAO. I feel like I hated like 2/3rds of the game only for me to now rate it as one of my favorite games of all time. I have tis message pinned in my friend server on disc where my rankings for newsona is 5,4,3 but now my ranking is 3,4,5 LOL. Going back, it really is a fun game though. I was just inexperienced in slightly hard rpgs. Also. Aigis carried the game.
Bloodborne: Tied with Elden Ring as one of my fave fromsoft game. The aesthetic is top tier, the weapon gimmick is really fun, the boss fights don't make me wanna rip my hair out, and Lady Maria is cool.
Elden Ring: LET FLAME CLEANSE THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Madoka Magica: Madohomu truther
Tsukihime: Its a fun visual novel with great characters. Kohaku is literally one of the greatest characters ever made. Too bad Sacchin is in the same story because she will ALWAYS BE ON TOP !!!! Apparently Sacchin is getting a route (finally!!) in the far side remake and I legitimately can NOT wait. Did you know, one of the reasons her route was cut from the original is because they thought she'd be too popular? Crazy right? Justice for Sacchin!!!
Almost any card game: I play yugioh, hearthstone, magic, the guilty gear card/board game, one piece tcg, and so much solitaire. Idk what makes me come back to card games tbh. Maybe its the way one's personality can come out while you play? The choices you make, the cards you use, the trades you do. Even using the meta-defining deck says something about you. BTW for those curious, in yugioh I like ghostrick, in mtg I like boros, and in hearthstone I play rogue/mage/druid.
Pokemon: I like the pocket monsters okay? People can tell me dex cuts are bad, or the graphics are bad, and exp sharing always on is bad (not true), but I'll usually always get the new pokemon game and REALLY enjoy it. I remember getting Violet and just plowing through it in like a week, that being all I play. Then I completed the dex around the time dlc dropped (which i havent played LOL). It's just really fun. Also, my fave gen is 5 and my fave pokemon is minior.
Sims 4: Kinda been playing the everloving [expletive] out of this recently. The only bad thing is is that I get too attached to my sims and won't let them die. Like c'mon why can't I let the digital character grow old and pass away I'm an adult. W/E its still enjoyable. Girls kissing
Fate/Stay Night: I've played all of the the visual novel routes, then watched the UBW anime and Heavens Feel movie with a friend. This is up there with Persona 3 as "Media that probably changed my Life." I don't think I've ever been more attached, committed, or distraught to and by a series. Last Episode literally made me cry for like an hour, ugly sobbing. In Saber's route I distinctly remember crying, going to sleep, then crying again when I wake up. Maybe I'm just a cryer LMAO. Tbh I need to complete fate/zero so I can start hollow/ataraxia. Also, I've played fate/extra and loved it, currently playing fate extra ccc. Nero Claudius my beloved. ALSO READ FATE/TYPE REDLINE.
League of Legends (unfortunately): Idk I just like character based games. My most enjoyable experiences come from learning a new character and finding all of their quirks out. Its why I enjoyed Overwatch, Smite, Battleborn (LOL), Valorant, and most fighting games. Y'know, before I stopped playing all of them. Also, the fanfic is awesome. Lightcannon is the best thing ever, Gwen x Poppy is great and a surprise, and recently I've been seeing Gwen x Aurora art so ig I can look forward to that. Btw my preferred roles are top, bot, and supp.
Hades: Y'all, just play this game. It's peak.
Yuri!!!: LET ME RECOMMEND YALL YURI!!!! I HAVE SO MUCH I WANNA TALK ABOUT!!!!
Binding of Isaac: I'm a sucker for roguelikes/lites. They're nice when I can't focus on story and just want to do something while watching a youtube vid. BoI is top tier in that regard. Just a fun game in general, infinite replayabilty, and a good modding scene.
Risk of Rain 1/2: Same as Binding of Isaac except I want to attack my cpu directly
Pac-Man World 2: Yall ever play this game? Its a ps2/Gamecube/Xbox game thats surprisingly so fun. I played it as a kid and loved it, and I recently played it and tbh it holds up pretty well. I beat it in a couple of hours so I recommend it if you wanna waste an afternoon on a charming little 3d platformer. (I hate the water levels tho those are the worst designed thing ever made)
Rhythm Heaven: These games are awesome. Just FULL of personality and fun gameplay, too bad I might be the worst rhythm heaven player in existence.
Sudoku: yeah I'm a nerd. in my defense, I'm also bad at these.
Touhou: Forever stuck on touhou 6 since I cant get past sakuya without game overing :((
Fire Emblem: I remember playing fe7 on an emulator on my in high school, skipping all of the story and just doing the maps. Going back to it, I was surprised at the story they could fit on a gba. Made me cry. Also I got pretty far in the game doing that, which shocked me. Everytime I went to the next chapter I was like "Okay, so THIS is last map I got to" LMAO. Other than 7 I've played 8, Awakening, Three Houses, and I started Engage and the Shadow Dragon remake.
Fighting Games: need some oomh (one of my heys!) to hit me up so we can play some melty blood or mvc2 or something. Though I probably need to get wired first tbh.
Dragon Quest: Unadulterated turn based fun in it's purest form. Dragon Quest 3 and 5 are so good when you don't got someone recommending final fantasy instead in your ear.
I might update this later so stay tuned!!
