Hey y'all!
I recently went to the thrift store with my momma in search of more skirts as I recently realized I don't really have any I'm comfortable wearing. Searching for clothes can be kind of a hassle for me, as I can be a huge range of sizes while having a very specific style that is already hard enough to find where I live. Finding stuff I like is hard, so is finding stuff that fits. Finding stuff that's both is even harder. Thankfully I can sew, so some of these I do plan on altering to a degree. May or may not post about that. Sorry for the poor photos this is my first time doing anything like this.
graphic baby tee
So I saw what I'm pretty sure is a graphic baby tee and I LOST IT. It's perfect to use as two patches. Very excited to use this on my new blazer. It fits as intended but I really hate how baby tees look on me. Its tag says "divided" which I'm fairly certain is H&M brand. I got it for like three bucks.
blazer
If you know anything about the 80's you'll know that blazers were in. At least that's what my research and my parents tell me. Shoulder pads usually make my sensory issues go insane but thankfully this one is super comfortable. Looks untouched but didn't have tags. I ain't complaining. A 9 dollar blazer is a 9 dollar blazer. Might change out the buttons we'll see. This is gonna be one of my project jackets.
shredded sweater
My parents (especially my momma) are super strict about modesty, and sometimes if I want to wear something they'll insist I wear something under or over it. The intended purpose of buying this sweater was to use it for that. I don't remember how much it cost but it was cheap as hell. There were actually two in this thrift store which was wild that there were just. two of basically the same thing. I think whoever owned it last shredded it. Pretty cool.
red velvet skirt
Oh to own more red clothes. Not much to say about this. Long ass red velvet skirt. Drapes over my boots nicely. Yahoo.
pleather pencil skirt
BLESS. 80'S GOTH STAPLE. We finally found one that our momma approves of, even if its for "the right environment". And its machine washable! Ooo!!! Fits really nice good length UGH its perfect.
simple black dress
Its kind of a knit material I don't even know how to explain it. It fits well and I've already starting making outfits with it. Super excited to actually wear it proper. This is one of those things that I think every goth should have because its just so easy to style. throw a jacket over it, several necklaces, your panty hose or fishnets and boots and boom. its a whole look.
black velvet dress
OOOO ITS GOT A BIT OF A HANKY HEM OOO I love it its perfect fits so nicely and comfy. Its got this like modesty layer which is a little frustrating when putting it on but I'll figure it out in time. Honestly this one is good for when its hot cause its lined with this satin-ish fabric and it stays cool, and it doesn't need layering to get it's point across. Love it. Chef's kiss. It was three buckaroonies and the zipper is slightly broken but you cannot beat that.
