I recently made the decision to stop taking my birth control, which I had been taking for the past five years. Since stopping about a month ago, I have observed some noticeable changes in my body and overall health.
Now, I find myself contemplating whether I should resume taking birth control due to the benefits it provided me with in the past. It helped me maintain a healthy weight, which I appreciated, as being off it has caused me to lose too much weight, leaving me underweight, which makes me feel like shitl.
On the positive side, I have noticed that my menstrual cycle has become much more manageable without the pill. The absence of unbearable cramps, improved flow, and a general sense of well-being have been some of the advantages I have experienced since discontinuing birth control. However, the decision of whether to go back on it remains uncertain, and I have decided to give it another month before making a final choice.
