SCENE LINGO GUIDE/DICTONARY! (constant wip)

hello!! scene kids dont have to talk like this. just the first thing im gonna say. i talk like its 2024 for the most part (i cross in a little, u'll notice reading this). just for the people who WANT to, bc when i see ppl say "heres how to talk like a scene kid!!" its just leetspeak & alot of emoticons. i mean some scene kids did that but not like all the time 24/7. ive been in this biz 2018-2020 and then recently in 2022. im a profesional, together its 6 years ;3

early scene
ok first if ur going more for the early scene era during the beginning of the subculture (2004-2008) u wanna use alot of feminine words if that makes sense. like call stuff fab & act all cool. instead of saying cool at all just say "fabby!!" or "rad!" or "the sex!!" or whatever u feel that day. im not plugging (i am) but im planning to make a blog explaining how scene as a style has evolved, so if ur confused as to why early scene & late scene r seperated go check it out if its up. anywayyyyy act like ur at a party!! scene kids during this time usually spelt stuff wrong either on purpose or they just couldnt bother, which is the entire reason fer sure is called that probably. use alot of emoticons if ur on a computer, & if a message looks to plain, just use 4 b1t 0f l33tsp34k. ending wordz with z's also spices some shit up if u have a real dry message. cuss ALOT u wanna make the old people angry at "those darn kids!!". be very vulgar if ur comfortable.

late scene
ok if ur going for more of the 2009-2014 vibe (which im assuming most of u r, we love u anyway) be very random & very loud. not too random, sum people need 2 calm down lolz. use MORE emoticons (more then u would as an early scene kid if u read that), its practically punctuation!! ^w^. go very lolcat parry gripp mode, like replacing ur t's with d's (hehe) or typing with a lisp like saying "yesh" instead of "yes". u dont want old women to understand what ur saying. type stuff how its pronounced, like sayin "TAWCOSS!!" instead of tacos. if ur message looks to lame, u can also put some z's at the end of words with s's (or lol (lolz)). just dont care about what ppl think about u at all, thats like the main key point especially if ur not in an enviroment with a bunch of scene kids. instead of being vulgar, be edgy & have the humor of a middle school boy. spell everything wrong & just let ur fingers guide u on the keyboard....

hXc (hardcore, sometiems just hxc)
sXe (straightedge, the opposite of hxc basically)
"the sex" (ie just something cool like "thats so cool!)
rad (also just cool)
fab (fabulous)
fabBY (back to just cool like instead of saying "thats so cool!" u say "thats so fabby!")
scene kid (a scene person)
trendie (a scene person usually used derogatorily but we dont care)
scenester (a scene person)
roflcopter (rolling on the ground laughing spinning like a helicopter)



tl;dr to talk like a early scene kid (less childish) be very vulgar & talk like ur constantly at a party. to talk like a late scene kid (more childish) act like ur in a parry gripp song. BOOM FINISHED MY WORK HERE IS DONE NOW THROW KUDOS AT ME ;D
