Found this pair of Heelys in my size at Zumiez that were apparently the only adult-size pair for sale for many miles. Dope. Rolled into Hot Topic on them with a Monster in my hand and an "I <3 emo girls" shirt on while they were playing some 2000's screamo song. Felt like I traveled back in time...until some fat store employee went and told a mall cop that I was "skating in the mall" and I was told I had to either take out the wheels or leave! When I was a kid I could heely all over the mall and not hear shit about it except how cool my mf light up heelys were. Hot topic SUCKS now. They mostly play shitty music lately and the clothes are marketed too heavily at tiktok e-girls. Last 3 times I went in they had NO Invader Zim merch and NO good shirts. All the anime shit they had was from NARUTO except for a SINGLE Misa shirt. Malls are dying thanks to online shopping. Do your community a favor and go loiter at the mf mall.

I looked on their website quite recently and it looks like they also got rid of their Skelanimals merchandise as well. :(

the hot topic at the mall where i am is full of the "fairy grunge" stuff? if thats what its called. i mean like its full of it, but good news is is that ive found gir hoodies, cool and better band shirts, etc. but theres very little of it :( i think their starting to bring it back the old stuff from their prime bc its becoming a big thing again tho!!! so so happy!

Oh how I wish we would also have Hot Topic in our mall. That is like a one-stop shop already for my needs to achieve the emo or scene aesthetic back in 2008 that I dearly miss because I was just a kid back then.
