Interview with the Vampire series

I have just finished watching season 1 and I have to say that Louis is the biggest, fattest liar to ever walk this earth. 'Love of my life'???? brother I have read the books. Armand is nothing but trouble (and is also like 16 in the books- how on earth will the series make this palatable in any way?) and does nothing but scheme. Maybe Louis doesn't know this. I don't know yet.
