Any Anthrocon attendees here?

This was my first year attending with friends which went last year to Anthrocon. This year was absolutely astounding/ The attendance grew by four thousands; over 17,000 con goers!! There was also a charity record hit of over $100,000! Yes lines were crazy- but anthrocon has been a mostly volunteer staffed event which were not expecting 4000 extra people to attend and ended up being very understaffed. There was a total of 45 volunteer security staff members for over 17000 people. Next year anthrocon is going to be even bigger and better. This year they attempted to accomodate towards the con as their expect 12 partner hotels had to get bumped up to 22 partner hotels as so many people came! It is sad that the con is over but this is just even more exciting to think about as next year with the under the sea theme is going to have such a different plan I expect.
I believe in the closing ceremony they said someone named "Jen" (correct me if I am wrong) was gonna fix the registration for next year,,, so if mail in badges do not become a thing, Jen, I am BLAMING YOU!! (I got stuck in the line in the heat and like had to clear ways for paramedics and ambulances to help people along with the weird inner wait for over 3 hours.)
