"Minors DNI"

Then they proceed to post about media that minors consume. If you post about cartoons you literally have to expect children interacting with you whether you want it or not. "MINORS DNI" is basically useless to mention in your bio if the media you consume is made specifically for people under 18. Either post more adult content or block the people you know are minors instead of complaining about how only minors are following you.

Let me phrase this better: I'm not saying that you can't like media that are mainly targeted for a minor audience as an adult, but you can't expect that ONLY adults will follow you. If a media is made for children then you have to expect children liking it and thus interacting with your content. I'm just saying that blocking them or posting more adult content is a way better solution to combat minors interacting with you  than posting 100 videos about how minors won't stop interacting with your content knowing full well the media you post about is targeted towards minors

I understand what you're saying and I agree with many parts of it, but separate actions don't invalidate somebody's boundaries. Some adults just aren't comfortable interacting with who they see as children. Sometimes these adults like media targeted towards a younger audience. Sometimes minors and them will interact with them on accidents and all of this is okay as long as it isnt an intentional offense. Asking minors to not interact is a boundary and boundaries should be respected appropriately. I don't think these adults should freak out and get super angry because accidents happen and there is interest overlap. But i think both parties should respect each other. I'm 17 and I dislike interacting with younger children because of my OCD (an anxiety-rooted disorder). And yes it is mostly my responsibility as the older party to maintain this division, i think its important to not invalidate someones boundary simply because of their interests.

yeah, i understand. i tried phrasing it a little bit better on the last part. i was mainly targeting those people who get super pissed about it and just start making a huge scene out of it.
