Is it correct to say that my hair hurts/hurts me

Today I washed my locs a bit in the shower, which isn't usual for me. I just needed to get some chlorine out of my hair, but that was one of the most high stress activities I've done in the shower. Just letting the masses know, my scalp was not made for this heavy lifting I swear to god I have to shave my head, this is literally too much weight.

Also I made a mha "Candy Store" lyric prank when I was younger, it's still on my iPad to this day.
