The past is made non-existent. Always posed as something to be evolved from, something with nothing worth being. The television says never again before pushing another ad to people of the past. The historians say that everything worth finding has been found, that everything else is supplementary. The idealist says that all the great people and ideas of the past are incompatible with the great people and ideas of today, that we are apex. The postmodernist say that the past is a metanarrative concept from the age of enlightenment and marxism, that therefore it is nonsensical and immature and must be turned away from. The neo-liberals only quote some few odd books from the past, and even they re-wrote them and tossed the old ones away, as if to say their ideas are new and not a rehash of what has been. The average person doesn’t even think of the past, when they do it’s with clubs and huts. Reactionaries say they’re fighting for a better past, but never say anything other than, “Make ___ great again”. The followers of these reactionaries don’t realize that this “better past” would enslave them again, they think slavery was a thing of the past and can’t happen now (lot of cognitive dissonance from the reactionary group). The materialist had something really interesting but it’s been appropriated and lost. The marxist and communist used to have something about the past, something about certainties, but they’ve been so distorted in the public mind that I can’t remember what it was.

The future always is, always horizoned, always just a step away, never is. The internet periodicals says, to those who can read above a 3rd grade level, that robots will be fuckable and women can be supplemented with chatbots, all soon. The burnt out remains of silicon valley say the same, except with the added bonus generative AI, a type of AI that is so resource intensive that it might vaporize tomorrow. Some odd crypto twitter account talks about making prisoners “of the future” live their sentences in minutes with nurolinked, AI assisted, bio-mechanical systems, with some extra buzzwords here and there. Leaving the internet, in its web 2.0 implosion and 3.0 impossibilities, we find more views that echo the views of the past. The television says, to the few who still watch it, that the future is a product away. The historian says nothing of it because the historian focuses on the “supplementary” past. The idealist says with a large chest, “We are already in the future” because, “We are the apex”. Postmodernists say the same thing as with the past, the future is metanarrative and only enlightenment and marxist holdovers believe in it. Neo-liberals say, much with the same gusto as the idealist, that what we are is what the future is, no further development necessary. Reactionary demagogues claim that the future will be gay and without whites, so they say go to the past. Again, the followers of these demagogues engage with cognitive dissonance. Materialist talked about some conditions of such and such, but no one listened. Marxist and communist had some hope for it but again everything they wrote and said was forgotten and retarted to unrecognizability.

The present is nonexistent. There’s not a single group that focuses on the present. Not out of malice or ignorance or some ideological leaning. Great man theory and class conditions would change impressions on the present, but not the ability to recognize the present. Racism and forgotten words also shouldn’t stop anyone from seeing the present. So why can’t anyone be in the now?

Of course, everything said before is for the people who haven't seen the game, or asked about the kids, or stopped and took in the sky. Everything from before can be countered by asking about the weather. Anyone who read anything from before and thought it was the least bit insightful should stop and attempt to deinternialized their head from their ass. This also applies to myself.

He sits by himself

He hates by himself

He never can because he never lets himself

He thinks himself higher

He does have the skills for it

He throws away everything for skills and pride

He now sits by himself
