Visiting a New Anime Store + Some FMA Merch

Recently, a new anime store opened up that's not too far from me. Yesterday I went to check it out. It's a nice place! Spacious, with a good selection and reasonable prices. It's pretty cute :)

While I was there, I ended up really hitting it off with a guy. He was sooo tall and handsome... I suggested we could go back to his place ;) but he said it was going to explode in 5 minutes. Oh well!

Also!! They had what I can only assume is some sort of... gay pride Kuriboh? (Before anyone brings up Rainbow Kuriboh- Yes it is a real card, no it doesn't look anything like this lol.) I'M SO OBSESSED WITH THIS THING LMFAO. I wanted it sooooooo bad, but unfortunately I'm allergic to dust mites, so I didn't buy it :( But gay pride Kuriboh will always live on in my heart!!

I did end up buying two things for myself (along with a few gifts for my family members). Both are FMA themed- it is my favorite anime, after all!!

For whatever reason, the Ed plush has an 03 FMA tag, despite also having a manufacturing tag from 2024 lol. Tbh I could tell just from looking at it that he's a newer plush, since the overall look of it is pretty consistent with 2020s trends. I do like it very much, I'm just confused why they tried to market it as being from an anime that ended 20 years ago and was replaced with a reboot, lmao.

As for the keychain, I'm super happy I found it!! I used to have this exact one when I was a kid, probably around 12 years ago or so? But it sadly fell off my bag along with a few other keychains, and was forever lost (now all we can do is live). It was my personal favorite because it had both brothers as well as a cat, so I'm super happy that I was able to find a new one all those years later! It came as a real surprise. I love it :) Gotta decide where to put it...

Hilariously enough, the Ed plush is actually bigger than my jumbo Al plush lmfao!! I've had him since 2010, so he's a little worn, but I love him very much.
