turtle vs tortoise

HOWWWWWW do ppl not know the difference. heres a SMALL guide (forgive my awful grammar + punctuation).

TURTLES have smaller sleeker bodies, their shells are flatter and their limbs are more like lil flipper feet thangs. theyre (semi) aquatic, have moist skin, and are actually faster than youd think, especially my turtle he can never calm his ass down and hes tried speeding off of ledges before.

TORTOISES are much bigger, their shells are more domed and they have big ass legs. theyre land animals, have dry skin, and are pretty damn slow. 

SOOOO next time you see sumn on the streets dont you DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE call a goddam TORTOISE a TURTLE. I *WILL* HEAR IT and CHASE U /j
