My Boundaries & DNI!

Hello!! This will be a pretty long post about what I am comfortable and uncomfortable with. Please respect my opinions so we can get along. If you don't think that you will be able to be friends with me for any reason listed here, that's completely okay and I hope you have a good day elsewhere!

To start off, I feel that it might be important for others to know that I do have a bit of uhh mental stuff going on? But I mean who doesn't lol- Anyways, I have been diagnosed with clinical depression, GAD (anxiety disorder), ADHD, and I am currently looking into a diagnosis for autism (just to have some closure for things). These do not define my entire personality of course, but they do affect certain aspects of my life that may be different to others and I believe that should be known. I don't usually like talking about those parts of me openly as some do so please keep that in mind for future reference. I am mentioning these purely because they can have an effect on how I act but I do not blame everything I do purely on mental illness of course! That’s just dumb

Firstly, I don't mind vulgar language at all. I'm not sensitive to curse words and some slurs of course but I don't appreciate it when used excessively over a long period. For some odd reason, I find it unattractive in general, friends or not. It isn't that I think people who curse a lot dumb or anything, but I just feel that words can be used better. On that note, I do not tolerate certain rude sayings towards me specifically. It honestly depends on how I am feeling but I don't usually like being told bad things about myself because like...that's basic human decency?? Unless you physically cannot control yourself (ex. tourettes, tics) I won't take it to heart or anything of course :))

On the topic of language, let me mention jokes/dark humor! Of course, you can do or tell dark jokes with me, I'm fine with (almost) anything! I use dark humor to cope with a lot of things as well. Some jokes that I can't really laugh at though are ones to do with pedophilia or rape. This is simply because I'm not quite ready to joke about them freely just yet. I hope you understand! On a good day, yeah I can take one or two (of the two said topics from before) I'm chill with that, but for my sake please ask before you make a joke with one of those things involved.

Now for the silly...😲 Flirting?? Welllll, I don't really mind it once I actually get to know you some. If you start flirting right off the bat I might take it seriously lol so please don't say weird stuff. Speaking of weird stuff, I would really, really, really appreciate it if there were no sexual comments towards me (unless we're at a comfortable point to say it JOKINGLY to one another) because one: I'm a minor, and two: it grosses me out brah

Okay I feel I should put PHYSICAL boundaries on here. I know it’s likely I won’t come into contact with more than half of y’all but this is just in case! I can be VERY affectionate lol, whether it’s with friends or closer. I also don’t mind like hard pats on the back or the occasional nudge/small punch just no grabbing me in weird places without my consent bro 

Since I’m kinda bad at reading signs you should totally just give me a friendly reminder if you do or don’t like these things (or anything else listed in this post)! I won’t be offended by personal space c’mon now

If I have more to say about my boundaries, I will update this in the future. But for now, that's it!
