ranting about the chipmunks again

okay so i have yet another bone to pick about the chipmunks and my question is.... why the fuck do the santa glasses fit simon so well?

like. okay. so it's implied it's something that's not just for like. yk. style, it's actually something that he needs to like BE ABLE TO SEE

so how in the sam hill is he able to just automatically match the glasses prescription of a fucking STATUE to a real ass human being? what's wrong with this?
