AI Art Ruins Everything (and an expression of gratitute to picrew.)

AI art ruins my perception and how I view art, every time I look into an art piece with that glossy anime art style (you know what I mean right?) I always look at the smallest detail because I fucking hate it when I like a drawing and find out that it's an AI art. I overanalyze everything and it is fucking stupid to the point of knowing every trait of AI art.

Like when we stop believing in ourselves? We are supposed to be gods in this giant ball called Earth, and we decorate this land with art, why are you even conceptualizing something that will take that ability to a machine?

Sure, I cannot draw (and I have no passion for it), but I swear to all nature I will not fuck with AI art, because no matter how beautiful AI art is, at the end of the day it is just an illusion: Nothing to be proud of, disposable, and inauthentic.

Instead, I use character creators like honeycome*, koikatsu*, and picrew. Granted, I just compiling things piece-by-piece from existing materials, but at least I know that someone created that material and gave me the power to create something with it.

Of course, the art is not mine fully, but the character I built, of all the combinations that are possible, is MINE. It is ME who handpicked and compiled every part of the body of my creations, and I will cherish it.

You may ask: "But what is the difference between that and AI art?"

The simple answer is: I did it, not the machine.

*if you are curious, both software are 18+ due to the sexual content, but I can say that it is a very solid character creator if you disregard the sex part (and if you think nudity is okay in an artistic context).
