AJ, having heard about Tony’s incident at Miss Sweet Potato Pie, confronts his father.
AJ: “Dad, why did you go to Miss Sweet Potato Pie? Isn’t that like the African American version of Chuck E. Cheese?”
Tony, surprised by AJ’s question, chuckles and decides to use this as a teaching moment.
Tony: “AJ, every place has its own charm. Miss Sweet Potato Pie, Chuck E. Cheese, they cater to different crowds, different tastes. But let me tell you something, kid.”
Tony leans in, a serious look on his face.
Tony: “In my book, nothing beats the original. Chuck E. Cheese, with its games, pizza, and that big, goofy mouse? Now that’s a place where a kid can be a kid.”
