forgot how much I fucking love fireworks actually

(this was originally gonna be a bulletin but I yapped more than originally intended) 

I got the perfect(ish) viewing angle on our back porch to see one of the people at the end of our street set of basically a whole light show!!  one of our back door neighbors pretty close to us was also setting off a bunch of fireworks but a lot of them were really low to the ground so we couldn't see them.  the ones we could see were just loud and uninteresting lol.  

I don't really wanna take a shower now, I just wanna sit outside and watch fireworks but realistically I know people will probably still be setting them off in early August lmao

my old HS is doing a fireworks show pretty late in the month which sounds good because 1) fireworks show, and 2) fireworks show that I don't have to drive to.  idk how I feel about going back there though :/  maybe I could just sit on a bench in the graveyard behind the school?  i don't think they're open past dusk unfortunately.

fireworks make me feel like I'm a little kid again, which is comforting but melancholic.  and also fucking stupid because I HATED fireworks when I was little, they scared me lmfao 

I'm probably gonna go back out after my shower if it's not like 2 am or something.  I still have hw to finish tmrw guhh
