Why I prefer Firefox over Chrome

Firefox is my go to web browser, and I have some reasons to tell you why I prefer it over Chrome.

  • Keeping Manifest V2 alive: It has Manifest V2 support. It keeps my favorite extensions as many heard of Google's kill-off of Manifest V2 extensions in favor of Manifest V3 for their Chrome browser.
  • Going beyond just lightweight themes: One thing Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers lacks is userChrome personalization. I customize Firefox to make it look like good old Firefox before the Australis era.
  • They even have a theme for one of their mascots; Foxkeh: That's right! The Firefox mascot created in Japan who will soon turn 18 years old this September has themes! Yep, He's still alive after almost 18 years!
And yeah, I used to switch between Firefox and Chrome to see which one's better, until I permanently switched to Firefox, because the legacy of Manifest V2 lives on, as well as CSS themes and even themes for one of their mascots Foxkeh!
